I have just returned from the Outpatients Department at St Luke’s Hospital where I was sent for a check-up. It was the first time I had found myself there and I was completely at a loss as to where I should go or what I should do.
But the clerk who took my particulars recognised me immediately – my name often betrays me – and after the initial joke she really went out of her way to help me. Yes, I want to publicly thank Valerie Borg for her help.
