Depiro Still took a step closer to another title yesterday when they beat Hibs GoMobile 60-51 in the second game of the final of the women’s Peugeot basketball national league.

Earlier yesterday the MBA Protests Board had decided that the result of the first match was to stand despite a protest from Hibs. They concluded that Joselle Cardona and Josephine Grima were both eligible to play for Depiro.

In the Kinnie League final, Hamrun Liberty GoMobile crept to just a win away from the title as they beat Pembroke Athleta 79-62 to take a 2-0 lead over their rivals.
