Msida St Joseph and their Italian coach Mario Petrone are expected to hold discussions next month and it is likely that the Italian will have his contract extended by at least one more year.

Petrone led the side to its first ever FA Trophy final though they lost that match last Friday 2-1 against Birkirkara.

The Italian coach said it was still early to say what will happen but he said he would relish the chance to continue the project he and Msida had started together the past season.
