Pool: Senglea Bocci Club Clinch national title

Senglea Bocci Club clinched the national league championships organised by the Malta Pool Association. The last day was crucial and by beating Paola Wolves 10-3 Senglea Bocci Club kept the title for the second consecutive year.

Ta’ Cikka Bar finished second while Hibs Pavillion secured third place. Paola Wolves, Cospicua Dynamos FC and Pandora Bar were relegated to the first division.

With one game to go, Top Gun Bar A are the mighty winners of the first division league. Taste Good Bar A ended in second place while the last game will determine the third team to be promoted to the Premier League.

Cospicua Rangers FC are leading San Gwann Bocci Club A with one point. St Vincent De Paule, St Michael’s Bar B and Billiards Hall B were relegated to the second division.

In the second division Espadon Bar A and San Gwann Bocci Club B finished top on equal points and a decider will determine the winners of the division.

Hamrun Liberty finished third and, together with Espadon Bar A and San Gwann Bocci Club B, were promoted to the first division.

Zejtun Red Stars, Hibs Pavillion B and San Gwann FC were relegated to the third division.

Espadon Bar B are the winners of the third division league. With one game to the end St George’s Bocci Club are one point ahead of San Gwann Bocci Club C and two points ahead of Trust Pub B.

The last game will determine which two teams join Espadon Bar B in the second division next year.
