Shooting: Adam Vella Wins Trap World Cup in Rome

Adam Vella, of Maltese origin, and who represents Australia in international competitions, has won the Trap World Cup held in Rome.

A total of 115 shooters from all over the world took part in the event.

Before the barrage Adam hit 118 of 125 clay targets and was occupying sixth place, but in the final, he managed a good 23 from 25 finishing on top alongside two other shooters on 141.

In the shoot-off, Vella hit two other clays and finished ahead of the others on 141 + 2. Second was China’s Xu Hongtao and third Bindrich Karsten.
