Lately I had to engrave three names on three small trophies. Obviously I took them to an engraver.

After a week or so, I went to pick up the engraved trophies. To my surprise when I went to pay for the engraving work, one on each trophy, the owner charged me Lm3.

When I asked for a VAT receipt, she arrogantly replied: “Then you have to pay an extra 45 cents to have a receipt!”

What a shame! I paid the extra 45 cents but I also reported this shameful behaviour to the VAT Department.

Dear customers, please always ask for a VAT receipt.
