Four Premier League players were banned one match each after receiving red cards in the past weekend’s matches.

They are Julian Briffa (Floriana), Roderick Bajada (Msida St Joseph), David Camenzuli (Pieta Hotspurs) and Ives Bilocca (Mosta).

Valletta coach Joseph John Aquilina and club president Charles Camilleri were also suspended for one match for passing remarks to referee Joe Attard at the end of the game against Birkirkara, according to the referee’s report.
