The coaches guiding the children and none other than Carmel Busuttil and John Buttigieg, two coaches who are in possession of the UEFA A licence. Together they have played over 200 matches for Malta and both played professionally abroad.

The school accepts just 150 children.

Applications for children from five to 15 years to join the school are open. Those interested are to phone 99837001.

The school has taken a group of three teams to take part in a tournament in Austria, another group went to Manchester United where it was an honour for the school to see its youngsters playing against their Man United counterparts at Carrington.

Next summer, the school is planning to take other groups of children abroad where, it is hoped, they will take part in some tournaments.
