Malta’s Under 17 national team, taking part in the UEFA mini-tournament in Lithuania, yesterday lost against Serbia Montenegro 2-0, conceding a goal in each half.

Serbia thus qualified from the Group, together with N. Ireland, who yesterday also beat Lithuania 1-0.

The Maltese will now face the hosts tomorrow in their last match.
