Following a meeting held yesterday morning at the go mobile Marsa head office and a previous request for a suspension of the sponsorship contract, shooter William Chetcuti and his coach Jimmy Bugeja yesterday presented a letter asking for the immediate termination of the sponsorship agreement with go mobile. The company accepted the letter of termination.

The sponsorship agreement between the two parties was signed on 1 September 2005 and was meant to cover a period of years until 2008. However, due to a dispute with the Malta Olympic Committee, Chetcuti and Bugeja had to terminate the said agreement with go mobile.

The termination letter was presented on 30 September 2005.
