The Mosta player Udochukwu Nwoko has been chosen as the Bank of Valletta Player of the Month for September.

The diminutive Nigerian striker hit the headlines during recent weeks with some polished performances which helped his newly-promoted team leave their mark against higher-rated opponents.

Nwoko’s technical qualities are adhesive skills when the ball is at his feet and speed off the mark. His goal-scoring ability is also another high point in his game as was evident when he netted two great goals in his team’s penultimate match.
