The successful ‘Sliema Review’ programme will be back on Smash TV, as from next week.

Sliema president Robert Arrigo launched the new programme yesterday. It will be a one-hour long programme which will be broadcast every Monday at 6pm.

Arrigo said this will be the fourth consecutive time that the programme was being broadcast.

Arrigo also said that other clubs were following suit with similar programmes, also on Smash TV. “We encourage such programmes in the interest of Maltese football, though we appeal to all supporters to continue giving their full support at the Stadium,” he added.

Mario Fenech will again present the programme. His team this year will include photographer Reno Rapa, Vince Borg, Tony Meli, Tonio Mizzi, Emmanuel Spiteri and Renato Vella.

Fenech said the programme will include some new items and more features, including sections on the club’s nursery. There will once again be a section dedicated to the glorious past of Sliema W, which will be taken care of by Dr Ronald Cuschieri. The public will again be able to participate by phoning in or by sending e-mails or SMSs.
