Malta Independent Friday, 28 October 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Besides Valletta’s Keith Fenech, seven other Premier League players will be unable to play for their respective teams this weekend, due to a one-match ban.

Floriana and Marsaxlokk each have two players suspended. Floriana’s keeper Simon Agius and defender Julian Briffa will miss the match against Pieta Hotspurs while Andre Schembri and Steve Wellmann are unable to turn out for Marsaxlokk against Hamrun Spartans.

Two important players will be missing from their teams, on either side, as Sliema Wanderers face second-placed Hibernians in the big clash tomorrow. The champions will be without defender Darren Debono. Hibernians without their main striker Andrew Cohen. Both were sent off in the previous matches.

Mosta striker Udo Nwoko will miss his side’s game against Msida, also tomorrow, after collecting four cautions.
