The Malta Triathlon Association will be organising a Cross Country Duathlon on Friday 10 February at 8.30am, at Dwejra, limits of Mgarr. The meeting place will be near the Chapel dedicated to the Madonna tal-Ittria, above Bingemma.

The event, which is not a Championship Race, is aimed at beginners as well as seasoned mountain bikers. The first race is for youngsters under 16 and consists of Run: 800m; Bike: 4km; Run: 800m.

The second race is open to anyone 16 and over and consists of: Run: 4km; Bike: 8km; Run: 2km.

The bike route includes both a steep downhill as well as a tough hill from Bingemma to Dwejra. The Race Fee is Lm1 and the first race is scheduled for 9.00a.m.
