William Irwin and Robert Woodman kept the Marsa opening batsmen at bay with good bowling. Zaheer Malik was the first batsman to go trying to hit Woodman for four and missed having his leg stump knocked over.

Nowell Khosla batted well but holed out to George Mangus for thirty seven runs. Joy Ghoseroy (nineteen runs), Mike Smith (seventeen runs) and Javed Shah (ten runs) kept the runs ticking.

Sacco remained till the end of the innings on seventy two runs not out. Marsa totaled 241 runs. The tourists used nine bowlers. The most successful bowlers were Robert Woodman and Sam Lowther with two wickets a piece.
