Last week saw a rare loss in Division 1 for the Banks (ROL) team and a fine win for the Melita Wilkinson Sword team. Edward Baldacchino was unbeaten for Banks but this was not enough as the Melita trio of David Pace, Peter Borg Cardona and Lassad Boutara all won two matches apiece to emerge as the eventual winners by six sets to three.

Pingpongers registered an important win in Division Two as they now become favourites to finish second behind Leisure Clothing and have a chance of promotion after play-off matches.
