Simon Zammit finished fourth in Group H and qualified for the last 32 round on Monday night, but Duncan Bezzina was eliminated from the IBSF World Grand Prix.

Bezzina lost his last match and finished his commitments in Group D with five wins from nine matches.

Zammit, meanwhile, won his last qualifying match and managed to make it to the round of 32 after finishing fourth in Group G with six wins and three defeats.

He then went on to beat Rhydian Richards 5-3 to reach the last 16 where until the time of going to press, he was winning 2-1 against David Hogan, 5-4 winner over Steve Mifsud in the round of 32.
