Malta’s Simon Zammit had his fine run in the IBSF World Grand Prix in Wales halted yesterday afternoon in the quarter-finals.
In fact, he just missed booking a place in the semi-finals as he was narrowly beaten by Lasse Munstermann 6-5.
Early yesterday morning, Zammit completed a 5-2 win (he was leading 4-2 overnight) over David Hogan in the last 16 to reach the quarter-finals.
Malta’s other participant, Duncan Bezzina, had been eliminated in the qualifying rounds.
