Radio RTK Website accessible to people with visual impairment

Malta Independent Saturday, 5 August 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

RTK has just re-designed its website http://www.rtk.org. mt, making it easier for people with visual impairment to make use of it.

Those visually impaired have now the facility to become familiar with the website by simply clicking onto the message which is found on the top of the website’s first page.

A purposely designed window will then appear enabling visual impairment visitors to the website to become informed with the latest news in brief, news bulletin, the day’s programmes, the week’s schedule including all the daily programmes, extracts of articles from the monthly magazine Flimkien; the prayer of the rosary and any other information which is found in the homepage of Radio RTK website.

The information which is contained in this specifically-designed window and that on the website page is similar and updated at the same time.

This update in the Radio RTK website is another step towards making the church’s radio station – ir-Radju Ta’ Kulhadd (the Radio of Everyone).
