The National Commission Persons with Disability (KNPD) is organising two awareness-raising activities this month.

The first will be held on Friday 25 August at Il-Menqa, Marsalforn, Gozo, while the second will be held on Saturday 26 August, at Ghar id-Dud, Sliema. Both activities start at 8.30pm.

Through these activities, KNPD together with local talent from the entertainment sector, will seek to raise awareness about the major issues concerning persons with disability. The activities will emphasise that people with a disability can have a good quality of life if provided with the necessary support by Maltese society.

The 90-minute programme will include dancing, song and musical theatre and will feature some of Malta’s best talent and theatrical skills.

Celebrity Communication, together with KNPD, is organising these activities which are funded by EU Community Programme to Combat Discrimination.
