The Malta Council for Culture and the Arts said yesterday that lunchtime concerts will be held in the Music Room, St James Cavalier, in Valletta, every alternate Wednesday between October and May.

The concerts will be held between 12.35pm and 1.05pm.

Anybody interested in taking part in these concerts can write to the executive director, The Malta Council for Culture and the Arts, attention Ms Isabelle Gatt, at 230 Republic Street, Valletta, or by email to isabellegatt@

Alternatively, they can telephone 2124-5168 ext 105 for an application form.

Applications should be returned to the Council’s offices by not later than Wednesday, 20 September.
