Improving Health with the Kellogg’s All-Bran challenge

Malta Independent Thursday, 14 September 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 11 years ago

Kellogg’s All-Bran cereals provide one of the most wholesome and effective ways to improve the digestive system. Now, the Kellogg’s All-Bran challenge is offering a simple way of achieving that balanced inner health. All it takes is one bowl of cereal from the Kellogg’s All-Bran range, every day for two weeks. Since All-Bran cereals are high in fibre, the difference can be felt after just 2 weeks.

A Kellogg’s All-Bran Challenge leaflet featuring the importance of fibre in one’s diet has been published by Kellogg’s to help consumers improve the health of their digestive system. The leaflet carries information about fibre and its health benefits both for adults and children.

Having the right amount of fibre in one’s diet is a real step in the right direction when it comes to improving inner health. The Kellogg’s All-Bran range can provide up to 50 per cent of one’s recommended daily intake of fibre.

That’s as much fibre as eight bananas, 22 new potatoes and five portions of cabbage.

“It’s well known that a fibre diet can have many beneficial effects on one’s inner health.

What’s not so well known is that these effects may also help a person to feel lighter and more energetic.

Taking the Kellogg’s All-Bran Challenge makes one feel great within a fortnight, while reducing feelings of fatigue and weariness,” said Jenny Xydeas, Marketing Manager of the Med and CEE Area for Kellogg’s.

The Kellogg’s All-Bran range includes Kellogg’s All-Bran Original, Kellogg’s Bran Flakes, Kellogg’s Sultana Bran and Kellogg’s Fruit n Fibre.

The Kellogg’s All-Bran educational leaflet can be obtained from supermarkets and major stores. Customers may also collect a copy from CD Promotions, Vincenti Buildings, 15/2, Strait Street, Valletta, from Monday to Friday between 9am and 1pm.
