Microsoft Malta announced that the Foundation for Information Technology Accessibility has been selected to be a Microsoft Authorised Refurbishment Centre.

This partnership is intended to help disabled people learn, use and develop basic computer skills in a properly equipped environment that caters for their mental and physical abilities and contributes to their development.

The Foundation for Information Technology Accessibility was selected to be a Microsoft Authorised Refurbishment Centre because it provides ICT consultancy and training services to disabled people, their family, teachers and employers, to assist them in overcoming or removing barriers to education and employment through ICT. With empowerment and social inclusion, disabled people need to rely less on traditional support structures.
