The feast of the Immaculate Conception will be celebrated in Cospicua on Friday, 8 December.

Tomorrow, the statue will be taken out of its niche after the Mass celebrated at 6pm.

On Wednesday, the First Day of the Novena, Mass will be celebrated at 5.45am with the homily by Fr Fabio Attard Sdb. The Tota Pulchra choir will participate.

The Novena will be celebrated as on the first day until Thursday, 7 December, except that on Saturday, Sunday and the last day it will be held at 7am.

Sunday, 3 December, marks the commemoration of the crowning of the Titular Painting. At 6pm a concelebrated Mass will be said by Bishop of Gozo Mgr Mario Grech, while Canon Anton Galea-Scannura will deliver the sermon.

On Thursday, 7 December, Mgr Frans Adeodatus Micelle ocd, Apostolic Vicar Emeritus of Kuwait and Bishop of Timisa, together with the Chapter of the Collegiate Church, will lead the Translation of the Relic and the Evening Prayer. A Mass will be held at 7.30pm.

On Friday, 8 December, Masses will start at 6am. At 9.30am, High Mass will be concelebrated by the Chapter of the Collegiate Church. Dr Luciano Borg osa will deliver the panegyric. The procession with the statue of the Immaculate Conception will start at 6pm.
