Gozo Bishop Mario Grech stopped to pay a visit at Dar Il-Kaptan, the Respite Home for the disabled. Mgr Grech was accompanied by his secretary and the parish priest of Mtarfa, Fr Joe Buhagiar.

Mgr Grech was met at the home by the administrator, Rotarian Harry Fenech, and the home’s chairman, Rotarian Frank Salt, as well as Antonella Agius Micallef, the administrator’s personal assistant. Mgr Grech walked around the home and spent time chatting to the clients as well as meeting each and every member of the staff.

Mgr Grech said he would like to return and spend more time at the home to see exactly how it works with respect to the respite care and service given to patients.
