Three months ago, Eden Cinemas launched their new SMS information update which allows patrons to receive a list of the new movies coming out that week at the Eden Cinemas as well as to receive any special cinema offers available to them.

The service costs just Lm 1 yearly for the benefit of receiving these weekly updates. In the three months Eden Cinemas received a huge response of cinema goers requesting this service.

Those who subscribed in the first three months stood the chance of winning one of three NOKIA N90 3G mobile phones, made available by Intercomp, Nokia authorised dealers. The prizes were handed to the lucky winners at the Eden Cinemas, in St. Julian’s.

The winners are:

Josephine Vella from Zabbar, who is a housewife and clerk. “At last,” she said, “I have my very own mobile phone. Usually, mine are hand-me-downs, either from my husband or from my son. I can hardly believe that I now have my very own brand new NOKIA 3G. No way will I let them take it away from me.”

Warren Marmara from Attard, is a student at STC Training. When called to be told he was a winner, he thought it was a joke! “I am thrilled,” he said. “I can’t decide whether to keep it for myself or to give it to my Valentine!”

James Rizzo who is 27 years old and lives in Gzira, is the third winner. “I have never won anything at all in my life and winning a NOKIA 3G is not bad, not bad at all! Thank you Eden Cinemas and Intercomp!”
