A song by creative Maltese songwriter Gerard James Borg is one of the 24 selected entries – out of a total of 259 songs – for the Romanian national Eurovision selection.

Lovestruck, by Swedish musician Thomas G-son who composed Carola’s 2006 entry for Sweden, Invincible – and penned by Gerard, will be performed by two popular Romanian artists – Indiggo.

The twin sisters are giving the Romanian selections a second try this year. Last year they took part with a song written by Dieter Bohlen with the popular duo Modern Talking.

Gerard James Borg is also taking a very active part in the Maltese festival this year. In fact he is the only lyricist with a total of three songs in the finals: Vertigo (Olivia Lewis), Night-Wish (AnnaBelle), My Love (Isabelle).
