The Malta Union of Bank Employees (MUBE) has praised Dr Gordon Cordina who recently resigned as director general of the National Statistics Office (NSO).

The union said it continuously appreciated the professional approach, integrity and enthusiasm shown by Dr Cordina in his work. The MUBE said the economist did not deserve the treatment he was given in the media.
