Michael Owen is just 26 but is a football legend all over the world. He won the Golden Ball award and the World Player of the year in 2001. He has also won the UEFA Cup, FA Cup, League Cup and the European Super Cup.

Owen has scored in every competition he played in, both at club and international level. Last year he suffered a drastic drawback as he was seriously injured during last year’s World Cup in Germany.

In an exclusive interview with Peter Paul Gauci he speaks about his

childhood football heroes, the anxiety of penalty shoot outs and his determination to be playing again before the end of the season.
