Four men aged between 24 and 30 years were arrested yesterday afternoon after police found three cannabis plants and several pieces of cannabis resin in an apartment in Pieta.

The police searched an apartment in Pieta after hours of surveillance and a strong suspicion that cannabis plants were being grown inside.

Three cannabis plants were found on the roof while several pieces of cannabis resin were found in the apartment.

Duty magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera appointed several experts to help her in the inquiry.
