A company director was charged yesterday with employing foreign nationals without the necessary permits.
Bella Vista Hotel director Rosario Formosa pleaded not guilty to employing foreigners irregularly on and before 2 March. In his position as an employer, he was also accused of failing to inform the Employment and Services Corporation (ETC) about the said foreigners he had engaged.
The accused was granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm500.
The case continues.
Police inspector Mario Haber prosecuted and Dr Chris Cilia appeared for the accused.
