A 44-year-old man was yesterday charged with falsification of documents and with driving an unlicensed motorbike.

Before Magistrate Antonio Micallef Trigona, David Gaffarena, 43, from Mqabba, pleaded not guilty to falsifying documents and making use of them on and before 26 July last year.

He was also charged with driving an unlicensed Vespa Piaggio motorbike, for which he used a registration plate of a Kia Avella, and with driving the vehicle without a licence and an insurance cover. Dr Franco Debono appeared for the accused.
