Human action is unique simply because it is guided by reason and motivated by the Spirit. Three things that stand out in this particular kind of action are: thinking, changing and doing.
• Think: Both self-reflection and mentorship are great sources of learning. Many a time the wisdom needed in life is not found ready-made in books. However, reflection can lead to it.
• Change: Reflection presents alternatives in life. The first place where change occurs is within the mental faculty of the person; precisely in the mentality, motivation or philosophy of life that a person has.
•Do: Real change must be swung into action. The latter visibly proves if an idea is worth holding onto or not, if it should be maintained or just discarded.
Human action is a recurrent and challenging movement towards a continual integral development. May our mind, will and spirit be open to change and mature in the never-ending process of becoming.
