Work On Erba’ Mwiezeb roundabout to continue

The Malta Transport Authority notifies that inclement weather has unfortunately delayed roadworks at Erba’ Mwiezeb Roundabout, St Paul’s Bay. Access from Burmarrad Road to St Paul’s Bay will not, as previously notified, be open to traffic and the traffic management scheme announced earlier last week is being implemented until further notice, as follows:

Access along Burmarrad Road will be unimpeded. However, access from Burmarrad Road (the cemetery) to St Paul’s Bay (village core) will be prohibited. The following traffic management scheme is being implemented for the duration of the works:

Public transport and vehicular traffic travelling in the direction of St Paul’s Bay will be diverted from Targa Gap roundabout (Mosta) to Triq id-Difiza Civili, Triq il-Forti, Triq il-Fortizza tal-Mosta, T’Alla u Ommu roundabout (Naxxar), Telgha t’Alla u Ommu, Salina/Iklin Road, Triq is-Salini, Kennedy Drive, St Paul’s Bay Bypass and onto Xemxija.

Public transport and vehicular traffic travelling in the direction of Mosta will, upon reaching the Olympic Grove roundabout (Xemxija) be diverted to Triq San Pawl, Triq il-Mosta, Triq Erba Mwiezeb, Kennedy Drive, Triq is-Salini, Salin/Iklin Road, Telgha t’Alla u Ommu, T’Alla u Ommu roundabout (Naxxar), Triq il-Fortizza tal-Mosta, Triq il-Forti, Triq id-Difiza Civili and onto Targa Gap roundabout (Mosta)

Any inconvenience is regretted. Motorists are urged to proceed with caution and to seek alternative routes through Mgarr and Ghajn Tuffieha.
