The No Tips for VIPs charity event held by VISET Malta plc at Heat Bar and Diner on the Valletta Waterfront proved to be another success following last year, with patrons swarming into the bar and spilling over onto the waterfront, socialising until the early hours of the morning.

Thanks to the many celebrities and politicians who rolled up their sleeves, armed themselves with notepads, and donned aprons, to act out the uncustomary roles of barmen and waiters, a total of Lm1,300 was generated during the night, in aid of the Harm Shelter of Caritas Malta.

As the weather was mild, the Versatile Brass Band played along the water’s edge and Carnival dancers entertained visitors.

“I would like to thank all the VISET staff for the hard work they have put into the success of this event, and to all the personalities and visitors. A big thank you goes to all the sponsors, DJS Trading, MK Leisure, Digital Music Sound, Avantech, 89.7 Bay, Farsons, Camilleri Wines, Nexos, Bristow Potteries, SG Retails Operations and mtmalta.com who helped in bringing this fund-raiser together. If it were not for all these people, the much-needed funds for Caritas would not have been collected,” said Chris Paris, general manager of VISET Malta plc.
