Maltacom’s internet arm, Maltanet has doubled the broadband speed of its entry-level products at no extra cost to customers – it has increased by 100 per cent the download speed, from 128Kbps to 256Kbps while the upload speed has also been upgraded by 400 per cent, from 64Kbps to 256Kbps.

These speed upgrades apply for the Lm5.95 per 30 days package.

“The speed upgrade results in a largely improved performance in the delivery of entry-level internet bandwidth to our customers.

This is in line with our strategy of continuing to make high-speed broadband accessible at an affordable price to as many households as possible, in our drive to take broadband to every household in Malta,” said Gordon Dimech, who heads Maltacom’s Consumer Segment commercial team.
