The Malta Under 17 national team will be taking part in an international triangular tournament at the MFA Training Grounds, Ta’ Qali, between Tuesday 3 April and Saturday 7 April.

The other countries taking part are Cyprus and San Marino.

The event will be another opportunity for coach Oliver Spiteri to take stock of the players available and prepare them for the 7th UEFA U-17 Championship 2007/08 qualifying round matches scheduled between the 21 and 26 October. Besides Malta the teams in the group are England, Portugal and Estonia.

Fixtures for next week’s triangular tournament are as follows:

Tuesday 11am: San Marino v Cyprus

Thursday 11am: Malta v San Marino

Saturday 11am: Malta v Cyprus

All matches will be played at the MFA Training Grounds. Entrance is free.
