A new amazing yacht from the Dehler shipyard is about to become reality.

Following the tremendous success of the Dehler 44, the first yacht under the ownership of Wilan van den Berg, was designed by the innovative duo Simonis & Voogd and awarded European Yacht of the Year 2007. Dehler now introduce its latest development – the brand new Dehler 34.

The objective of the Dehler 34 is to become the leading regatta cruiser in the range 33 to 35 feet, while offering the smartest and most comfortable interior with the sailing performance that Dehler have always been renowned for.

Wilan van den Berg said: “We have an extremely good feeling about the product strategy we defined and are convinced that with this new Dehler range we will change the industry forever. With our new strategy we will position the brand Dehler in the upper echelon of the semi-custom built market. After the Dehler 44 and the Dehler 60 (which will be launched in the 2007 Genoa boat show) the Dehler 34 will be the third model of our new product line to strengthen our position in the market. Like in the Dehler 44 and Dehler 60, the core values of safety, speed, innovation and high resale value will be the central theme in the new Dehler 34!”

The new Dehler 34 will be comfortable and performing at the same time, meeting the needs of both family and regatta orientated customers. The deck will be smooth and clean, with standard flush hatches and a lot of space on the side and fore decks. The cockpit, with standard teak and the possibility to install a recess able cockpit table, will be roomy and the open transom, with optional utility box, will give a racy and modern look to the Dehler 34. The spacious two cabin interior will have beautiful teak furniture as standard, while the side windows and light strips will offer a lot of natural light down below.

The lightweight and large sail area will give the new Dehler 34 the high performance characteristics that distinguish Dehler Yachts from all other competitors in the market.

The Dehler 34 will be introduced in September 2007 in The Netherlands, at the HISWA in water boat show, and will represent the beginning of a new era in the 33 to 35 feet range.
