HSBC Sponsors Bolshoi’s ‘Swan Lake’

HSBC Bank Malta is sponsoring Tchaikovsky’s famous Swan Lake ballet, performed by the world’s top ballet dancers from Russia’s famous Bolshoi Theatre. The performances will be held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre between Thursday and Monday.

Over 100 ballet dancers and musicians will be performing in what promises to be one of the most spectacular cultural events of the year. The Bolshoi will be accompanied by the State Academic Theatre of Classical Ballet of Russia and the Presidential Orchestra of the Russian Federation.

“It is wonderful for Malta to attract events of an international stature and of the calibre of Bolshoi,” said HSBC Malta’s chief executive Shaun Wallis. “HSBC is delighted to be involved.”

The adaptation of Swan Lake expresses all the lyricism, drama and magic of this timeless masterpiece, impressing ballet audiences around the world. Tickets for this unique event featuring the world’s top ballet dancers start at Lm15 for seats in the balcony, Lm35 for seats in the stalls and Lm50 for the exclusive dress circle area.

There is a 25 per cent discount for under-16s as well as for people with special needs and adults over 60 years of age.
