HSBC Rewards loyalty in merchant acquiring campaign

Three shop owners each won plasma screens and eight others won cash prizes of Lm200 each in HSBC’s second phase of its eight-week Merchant Acquiring Campaign. Cash prizes went to the two outlet owners who registered the highest percentage increase in transactions through HSBC’s Point Of Sale terminals over the previous week. In total, 16 shop owners have won cash prizes during the campaign.

At HSBC’s Hexagon House, the second group of winners were presented with their prizes by James Dunbar Cousin, Head of HSBC’s Commercial Banking.

These were Mango, Valletta; R Zampa Fashion Ware, Valletta; Copy Club, Msida; Eurosport, Lija; Maltapost, Marsa; Big Bon, Gozo; Maltacom, Gozo; and Pull & Bear’ Sliema.

Gas Store, Valletta; Big Bon Department Stores, Birkirkara; and Champion USA, Valletta were the winners of the final prize having registered the highest increase in transactions throughout the eight-week campaign period. They each won an LG 42 inch Plasma Screen.

“HSBC’s Merchant Acquiring initiative has been another success. Through this campaign, we have strengthened our relationships with outlet owners, rewarded their loyalty and promoted card usage as a safe, fast and efficient way of accepting payment,” said James Dunbar Cousin, during the presentation.
