Three Maltese bands, Mindstate, Fire and Cable 35 have been chosen by Liverpool Culture Company to perform an exclusive showcase of their original song material.

Press Production and Events Services have been lobbying for the inclusion of the three Maltese bands.

Mindstate, Fire and Cable 35, were chosen after a “Battle of the Bands”. The Maltese bands were the first to be chosen out of 20 other countries, to participate in the Mathew Street Festival. There are seven performing stages which will be scattered around the perimeter of Liverpool.

A marathon music showcase has been organised in several venues around Malta to promote the unique opportunity and establish Mindstate, Fire and Cable 35 in the local music field.

The first performance is to be held along the Strand, Sliema, today, kicking off at around 10pm.

Other venues where Mindstate, Fire, and Cable 35 will be performing are Bugibba, on Friday 4 May; St Julian’s, on Saturday 5 May; Paceville on Saturday 12 May and at Luxol Bar on Saturday 26 May.
