Around 70 young Waste Patrollers from Kirkop C Primary School, accompanied by teachers and parents, visited the Kirkop bring-in site where they correctly disposed of plastics, metal, glass and paper and also instructed the adults present as to what should be disposed of and where.
The enthusiastic children also prepared a banner for the occasion while another young student took time to construct a sizeable model of a children's park and a bring-in site made from recycled materials.
The activity was another in a series of activities for school children organised on an initiative taken by WasteServ to further promote and educate the public on the subject of waste disposal and recycling.
