Young children and accompanying adults were all smiles during a fun, noisy and busy HSBC Karusinu Kids’ Day held at the Bank’s Birkirkara branch on Saturday 21 April.

Face painters delighted the children with their art, a magician entranced them with his magic, the puppet show was a huge hit and balloon artists were kept busy transforming ordinary balloons into strange and wonderful shapes.

Older children tried their hand at Playstation, provided by Forestals, while goodie bags, produced in collaboration with Eduline Play ‘N’ Learn Centre, McDonald’s and Gauci Food Stores, were given out to all children young and not so young by warm HSBC staff who loved every minute and dispensed with the usual bank uniform in favour of jeans and HSBC T-shirts for the day. The bank’s savings mascot Karusinu made frequent appearances throughout the morning, to take photos with the children.

Customers who opened a Karus account on the day were also given a Karus money-box and in some instances, an extra Karusinu soft toy. Clients were also given a coupon entitling them to a rebate on the HSBC’s Life Children’s Plan.

“We are constantly trying to make shopping at HSBC a more fun experience for all the family,” said Brian Tortell, head of marketing, HSBC Malta.
