The euro changeover process, dual pricing and cash handling were among the subjects discussed during a series of euro changeover familiarization seminars delivered by Bank of Valletta’s Training and Consultancy Department to front-line employees of the Tumas Group.

Bank of Valletta is working hand in hand with the National Euro Changeover Committee in an effort to create awareness about the euro and the euro changeover process.

Bank of Valletta actively seeks to share its expertise and experience in banking and financial services management through customised training projects such as that specifically created for the Tumas Group employees.

Over the coming months, Bank of Valletta intends to organise various meetings directed at the local business community that will include sessions about the euro changeover process. Similarly, discussions are being held for the general public to support the national efforts being undertaken to ensure that the migration to the new currency is as smooth as possible.

BOV has also launched a Euro Help Line – 2131 2020 and customers are invited to call with any queries regarding the subject.
