A man has been jailed for one year after pleading guilty to seriously injuring a woman with a knife.
Keith Galea, 27, from Santa Venera, pleaded guilty to injuring Graziella Apap with a knife, causing her permanent injuries, and being in possession of a sharp and pointed instrument during the commission of a crime on 4 November 2004.
Magistrate Saviour Demicoli, who presided over the court, jailed him for one year and fined him Lm100.
Police Inspector Jesmond Borg prosecuted.
