ProCurve Networking by HP was named a leader in wireless local area network infrastructure in a report by Forrester Research, a leading analyst firm.

According to the Forrester Wave™ WLAN infrastructure report, ProCurve is a leader “due to its enterprise-class feature set, newly available wired integration options, and overall superior support.”

The report evaluated ProCurve’s current offering and strategy for WLAN infrastructure against approximately 54 criteria and concluded, “Overall, the ProCurve WLAN infrastructure brings an enterprise-class feature in competition with larger vendors.”

The report also discussed ProCurve’s unified management approach – which enables customers to integrate and manage wireless as a seamless extension to the wired network – saying, “Leaders exemplified the Unified Management vision espoused by vendors such as ProCurve Networking by HP.”
