It has been noted that the educational slots on the Mater Dei Hospital shown on the TV programme Kalamita have been censored or stopped abruptly.

A Mater Dei representative participated twice weekly in educational slots (live interviews accompanied by footage of Mater Dei) during Kalamita presented by Alfred Zammit on One TV. During these slots, the Mater Dei representative explained how the hospital functions, technology used, systems and so on.

Contacted by this newspaper, Mater Dei Hospital spokesperson confirmed that these educational slots had started on One TV on Kalamita but were suddenly stopped by the station’s management after a few days.

He said discussions are still underway to resume the information campaign on One TV, which is part of the overall Mater Dei information campaign, and expressed his regret that these discussions are taking longer than expected.
