The Labour Party education, culture and youth spokesman Carmelo Abela and youth, sport and culture spokesman Justyne Caruana have congratulated the Maltese contingent that took part in the Games of the Small States of Europe in Monaco.

They said that although it appeared that the objectives of the Maltese Olympic Committee had not been achieved, the

committee had prepared for the games, and participated in them seriously.

The games should stimulate the country to give more importance and attention to sport, the spokesmen added.
