Parliament: MCAST Drop-outs

The highest number of students who drop out of MCAST studies come from the Business and Commerce Institute, Education Minister Louis Galea told Labour MP Carmelo Abela.

In 2003-4, 73 dropped out, 61 in 2004-5, 123 in 2005-6 and 94 in 2006-7.

The institute from which the smallest number of students dropped out was the Maritime Institute.

Mepa auditor now has PA

A personal assistant has been chosen for the Mepa auditor and an investigator is being chosen, Rural Affairs and Environment Minister George Pullicino told Labour MP Charles Mangion.
