Madliena Village Party Celebrates final phase launch

Malta Independent Wednesday, 4 July 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Andrew Cross, the British owner of the exclusive Madliena Village, hosted a sumptuous poolside party to celebrate the start of construction of the final phase of the development. Over 100 guests, including most of the Madliena Village residents, enjoyed a charming evening of fine wines and canapés.

To celebrate the second anniversary under new ownership, guests were treated to an array of young Maltese talent, with Nadine Axisa and her band playing a wonderful medley of favourite classics, and Karl Consiglio displaying a series of paintings and photographs, that were on auction among the guests.

In a brief upbeat speech, Mr Cross outlined the achievements that his team had already made to modernise and upgrade Madliena Village to today’s standards. “This is what our discerning residents and future buyers will expect, and it is what they deserve. We would offer them nothing less,” he affirmed. Guests could see the start of construction of the final two apartment blocks as Mr Cross explained the timetable for completion over the next 15 months.

Of the eventual 90 luxury apartments that will constitute this hillside, gated community, currently Madliena Village has 50 apartments for sale. There is a small range of larger two- and three-bedroom apartments available for immediate sale and occupation. A larger and wider range of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses are also available for sale off plan over the next 12 months for occupation from June 2008.

Madliena Village will be hosting an open house this weekend. Those individuals interested in viewing Madliena Village are requested to register with their preferred estate agent to make an appointment.
